An acquisition website and a completely new branding for Prowise

Prowise, an expert in digital education, has a simple goal: to support teachers in offering students entertaining, high-quality lessons. To make that happen, it develops digital educational tools that care about the (data) security and joy of the student, teacher and school.

Clear enough, right? Not quite; the look and feel of the original website didn’t exactly showcase Prowise’s message yet. To excite the target audience with a clear brand story, Prowise came to iO. Our job? Develop a new branding and a website that not only represents the core of Prowise, but also generates leads and drives the target audience to convert.

Mismatch between product quality and brand perception

The products that Prowise puts on the market don’t miss their mark. They are extremely user-friendly and engage students like no other. Moreover, their solutions are developed in-house and meet the highest security standards. Those USPs should convince the target audience straight away, but the branding and website didn’t match what the audience was looking for. Besides, the old website mainly focused on the hardware, while the digital education expert offers so much more than that.  

The joy and power of the entire Prowise ecosystem needed to take centre stage. To showcase those aspects, the Dutch company went looking for a partner who could connect Prowise to its target audience.  

Considering that Prowise needed a brand story and a website that met the highest standards, it ended up with iO. Our experts (working on different iO campuses) were happy to create a website and branding that would show Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and the rest of the world how fun digital education can be.

Prowise & iO: a blended collaboration

Prowise is a Dutch company from Budel that develops digital educational tools to support teachers, IT professionals and students. From smart interactive displays to user-friendly software that allows you to prepare lessons, manage smart interactive displays and offer exercises customised to the student.

For our collaboration with Prowise, we compiled a dedicated team, as we always do. Strategy, Account Management, Copywriting, Development, Design, Branding... It became a team of many skills that didn’t just collaborate across various campuses in the Netherlands and Flanders. The team also became an extension of the Prowise team. We collaborated closely and often even worked from Prowise’s headquarters in Budel to offer additional support to the client. 

We were a single, unique unit. For instance, our copywriters already had insight into the design and the website before they were complete and worked with the development team to upload the new content into the CMS. Teamwork makes the dream work – especially when it’s a large project such as this one. 

Updated branding for a better brand experience

The Prowise team has a special place in their hearts for the world of education. Only... that love was nowhere to be found on the website. The joy that lies in Prowise’s digital learning tools and the focus on data protection, privacy and security didn’t reach the target audience. It was high time to align the soul and message of the company.  

Our branding and content experts joined forces to bring the values and mission of Prowise to life. Those efforts resulted in a website that is just as user-friendly, educational, safe and fun as Prowise.

A website that informs, inspires and converts

A website cannot exist without a clear message and brand voice. That’s why we took a deep dive into the world of Prowise. We were introduced to the range on-site (in Budel) by the Prowise team. We poured that knowledge into our strategic content exercise. Among other things, we discovered what makes Prowise and the target audience tick. That allowed us to create a brand voice, determine the pains and gains of the target audiences and set up design guidelines for Prowise.  

Having gained more insight into the pains and gains of the target audiences, we wrote copy for a new website that would inspire the educational sector and could be an acquisition tool in the marketing flow of Prowise. In the meantime, our development team started developing a new WordPress website in close collaboration with the Prowise team. 

Moreover, to bring the fun and vision of Prowise to life in a dynamic way, we needed a hefty dose of visual material to fit the brand story. With the Prowise team, we determined what was missing in the current database, created a shot list and set up a professional photo shoot. With permission, we took photographs of children from Dutch primary and secondary schools and supplemented the database with photographs and videos.

The result? The new WordPress website meets the highest security standards, is SEO-proof, and looks amazing to boot thanks to all the animations, colours and visuals (straight from the classroom). Teachers can now navigate the website easily and discover the digital world of education. A vision that showcases Prowise as the expert in digital teaching tools that it is. The website now offers all the information the target audience needs to convert, wrapped into a user-friendly package.
