Worldline, one of the world’s largest payment service providers, in collaboration with the blended agency iO, launches AI Smart Search: an AI-based search solution that drastically optimizes the user experience of the Worldline developer portal.
In collaboration with blended agency iO, Worldline recently launched an innovative search solution powered by artificial intelligence . With AI Smart Search , users of the Worldline Developer Portal will receive a personalized answer to their query at the top of the search results. In this way, the developers of Worldline’s partners have easier and more intuitive access to the information available within the portal.
AI Smart Search: efficiently and user-friendly unlocking information
The developer portal, developed in collaboration with iO, contains all the documentation developers worldwide need in one centralized environment. Worldline prioritizes user-friendliness, so they asked iO for a solution that would allow portal users to find their information more easily and intuitively.
iO developed AI Smart Search, an artificial intelligence-based search solution. With its unique and advanced search function, AI Smart Search goes beyond just searching for keywords and suggesting possible information sources. This intelligent search assistant offers comprehensive and relevant answers to specific questions.
Thanks to the Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) method, the AI Smart Search tool relies on sources approved by Worldline. It then generates new and personalized content to provide users with even better support. Thus, the system consolidates relevant information from different pages and provides it - directly at the top of the search results - as a summary or action plan.
In this way, AI Smart Search can reduce the pressure on Worldline's support team and improve the support experience for its customers and partners.
Deep integration with the CMS optimal results
The iO team integrated AI Smart Search into the content management system and added a content editor so that Worldline can feed the search solution with exclusive, up-to-date, and correct information. This makes the solution unique and reliable. It not only provides relevant results but immediately solves a common problem with AI: the so-called hallucinations, where the AI bot starts making up answers.
