What if your WordPress website(s) suddenly get an unannounced Risk Assessment? Would you pass with flying colours or quake in your boots?

event

What is Risk Assessment and what does it mean for your WordPress website(s)? During this event, we will go over the do’s, don’ts and pitfalls while addressing the following topics:

  • Security & Best Practices: how secure is WordPress out of the box and which techniques should you use?

  • Vulnerabilities: which attacks threaten WordPress? What can you do about them and, better yet, how do you protect your WordPress website(s) from them?

  • Mitigation: aside from the technical aspect, you have to thoroughly analyse your WordPress website(s). What kind of data does your website manage? Where is your data stored, and who has access to it? What happens in case of a data leak? We’ll provide you with a cheat sheet so you don’t overlook any risks.

  • Performance & Optimisation: which techniques does WordPress use when it comes to performance and optimisation? How can users and developers use those techniques optimally, and which caching and optimisation techniques are available that you have yet to implement?

  • Scalability & High Availability: small WordPress websites grow up quickly. What does that mean, and how do you help your WordPress website(s) through digital growing pains?

  • Data Privacy & Compliance: which standards does your WordPress website need to meet in terms of data privacy? As a WordPress user or developer, you may have a few “sensitive” questions about this. We did, too, and are happy to share our experience.

  • Monitoring & Analytics: to measure is to know. What should you measure or know, though? Are you still with us? During this event, we will show you all the best WordPress tools and tell you everything you need to know.

To end the evening, we will show you around the world of a professional WordPress developer. Which tools and best practices does a professional WordPress developer or team rely on today?
