Climate data portal contributes to safety

This partnership has recently been expanded. In addition to developing and refining its website and extranets, KNMI now relies on iO to build a data portal to make climate scenarios digitally available . These allow policymakers to assess the consequences of climate change and extreme weather and make decisions to keep the Netherlands safe, sustainable, and habitable in the future.

"For the climate scenarios, our experts have built a data platform , which we will further expand this year with data visualizations. It is a project of immense societal importance, and we are incredibly proud to contribute to it," says Jaap Willem Hoogenhout , Business Development Director at iO.
