Digital agency Intracto strengthens its presence on the Dutch market with the acquisition of the 30-man strong Have A Nice Day from ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

Since its establishment in 2005, Intracto has become one of the top 3 independent full-service bureaus in Belgium, with a turnover of 18 million euros in 2017. Have A Nice Day was founded in 1999 and works in the Netherlands for clients such as Alphabet, Berkvens and KLM. This year the company will have an annual turnover of 2.5 million euros.

Ambitious growth strategy in the Benelux

“This acquisition fits in the ambitious growth strategy of our group,” says Pieter Janssens, Managing Director of Intracto. “Thanks to this integration, we are now very strong in the Benelux, with 160 experts in strategy, design, technical development and online and offline marketing on board.

Added value for Belgian and Dutch clients

“Especially in the field of online marketing and e-commerce, due to nuances in language and culture, there is an important difference between Belgium and the Netherlands,” says Martijn Vervoordeldonk, founder of Have A Nice Day. “With this acquisition we are combining our know-how in both countries and supporting our customers even better in their ambition to play along at a high level”.

Strong expansion of technological expertise

Intracto is known for its extensive technological arsenal, including extensive expertise in open source platforms such as Drupal, Symfony and WordPress. The acquisition of Have A Nice Day adds a lot of .NET knowledge and years of experience with systems such as Umbraco and Episerver. Have A Nice Day will continue to operate under its own name, but will work closely together with its Belgian colleagues to provide optimal support to customers who want to be active in both countries or want to make the leap to the French-speaking market.
